Rev. Paul T. McCain is a pastor in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.
He has been published in numerous periodicals, including: WORLD magazine, FIRST THINGS, Concordia Theological Quarterly, The Lutheran Witness, Teacher's Interaction, Strength for the Day and others. He was one of the founding editors and organizers of LOGIA: A Journal of Lutheran Theology and LUTHER DIGEST, an annual summary of worldwide Luther scholarship.
He has served as the managing and technical editor for the Confessional Lutheran Dogmatics series, and served as General Editor for Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions, and has edited and contributed to numerous publications, including the collected works of Hermann Sasse, a festschrift for Dr. Kurt Marquart, translations of works by Johann Gerhard, David Chytraeus, Johann Quenstedt and other Lutheran orthodox dogmaticians.
His theological interests lie mainly in the study of the Christian church's history, with specializations in the Early Church and Reformation eras.
Pastor McCain is a frequent speaker at professional and lay conferences.
He lives in Saint Louis, Missouri with his wife and three children, one cat and one dog.
